Flypmedia.com

Flypmedia.com is a unique website that allows viewers to enter a world of visual media while sitting behind a computer screen. You can watch interviews, get a visual tour of the stories scenery, or simply just read interesting articles. When it comes to interactive storytelling the viewer needs to feel compelled to want to read the article. One main attribute is having an appropriate title that will capture the viewer’s eye and will have optimal search findings.
With interactive storytelling, “The writing is conversational and friendly, but also specific and direct.” This concept allows the reader to become more involved with the story on hand and makes them more vulnerable to offer feedback and comments. By simply clicking on a headline story in flypmedia.com such as A Matter of Life & Death, even just the images have already captured me, the viewer, to want to invest my time in the context of the story. Part of being a journalist is being able to explore all different ideas and concepts, and to brand your own name by being creative and unique.
This video shows a unique way of interactive storytelling. Whatever program and book this learning device might be, it allows children to get excited to learn. As we have probably seen a commercial with Ellen Page where she walks into a classroom and the students are able to video-chat with a classroom across the globe in China. Skype has become an interactive tool that allows people to communicate free of charge over an Internet connection. The 10 laws of interactive storytelling are prevalent not only on flypmedia.com but on the other sites I listed as well. From my experience of roaming through the Internet, flypmedia.com differs simply on the stories they chose to produce, but in general interactive storytelling is changing the way we learn and is only allowing us as students to grow.
